Utilization of Leading Boards

Is Leading Boards available in languages other than English?

To date, Leading Boards is available in French, English.


Is it possible to annotate files?

Yes, you can annotate the files. The source file (.doc, xls… etc.) is in no case modified and no information is added to it. The notes are strictly personal and visible only to the user who wrote them, unless he decides to send them to other users authorized to consult the abovementioned file.


Can I authorize access to Leading Boards to an occasional visitor?

Our system is completely configurable. Permission to access all content can be adapted to your needs and your current mode of operation. As a result, you can give to a “non-member” a temporary access to a Committee and its documents for example. So you can decide to to grant temporary access to lawyers or accountants or any external consultant.

User access

How do I access the website?

The users of this site must log on by using their username (or email address) and a password. Once logged in, a session is opened on the server and each visited page is checked before authorizing access to its contents.

Technical support

Do you provide technical support?

The customer support is the secret of our success and the satisfaction of our customers. We provide support via email to our customers, a standard phone support during office hours (Eastern Standard Time) and an emergency 24-hour hotline. We try our best to answer all requests as quickly as possible.


Do the technical personnel responsible for the maintenance of the servers have access to the data?

The technical personnel are bound to respect the confidentiality agreement and are only authorized to have access to the contents of the servers by written permission of the customer.

Security and confidentiality

What is the level of privacy and security of the site?

We use the SSL protocol for encryption (HTTPS 256 bits key) to authenticate the connections to the site and to guarantee the confidentiality of the transferred data.


To ensure the security of our client's information, we use three different levels of protection.


1. Physical infrastructure (server architecture)

2. Server-application level (operating system, firewall, server applications)

3. Client level (web platforms, UI, SSL)

Are the servers secure?

Our servers are hosted on a SAS 70 Type II certified facility. It means that the infrastructure has been through an in-depth audit of its control objectives and control activities, which includes controls over information technology and related processes, and complies with the requirements of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002. Moreover our servers are protected by firewalls and are updated on a regular basis.

System architecture

Is-it possible to install Leading Boards on our own servers?

No, this is not a software that can be downloaded and installed on your own server. Leading Boards is a web service hosted on our servers.


Will there be any regular updates?

Yes. The updates will be downloaded as needed during the night generally, to make sure not to affect users. And all our customers benefit –for free- from all new features and regular upgrades.


Is our data saved in anticipation of an unexpected problem?

Yes. We perform regular backups at two levels: at servers-application level and at databases level.
